Rise's Evaluation - Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a great game with an excellent combat system for an RPG. The side quest are quite interesting and should hold you over for a time. The main story I found was also interesting and I won't go into detail about the story. All I should say is that is not a bad story is not the best one either, but it is entertaining and should keep wanting to follow the story to its end.

The main quest and the side quest should last you over 44 hours but it said it could last you for a hundred hours. The combat elements are deep enough to promote strategy. There are a total of nine different style weapons an each of them act differently. There are combos you can unlock for most of the weapons, if not all and they should be able to change your play style.

You start out as a blank slate and form your character into a rogue, warrior, mage or any combinations of the three. There are also earn cards that you can earn by developing your character that boost your stats. The npc's are interesting enough and do gestures as they talk which is a nice added touch. There are guilds you can join and most if not all have there own storyline.

During my play session I have not had a freezes so its safe to say that it is a pretty clean game. Most of all I found it pleasing to go exploring and to find quest and loot and it can be addictive. If you like RPG and action then Kingdoms of Amalur should be a nice fit for you.

                                                                                                                                      Game Hard,
